Smartphone buying Guide

Confused about smartphones?

Well there are numerous smartphones out there , people always get confused about which phone to get their hands on it. Alright let's get straight to it.
The first thing is all about money. If you can spend a lot of money, close your eyes and get the latest iPhone available. You won't be disappointed.
Or
If you're concerned about money , then there are three categories where each phone falls into one of them.
1. Low -end
2.Mid - range
3. High end or power packed phones

Low end phones
Usually low end phones have very low Hardware[HW] specs , and due to that these phones doesn't get any future upgrades . we're talking about android here. But still these phones perform well with all basic apps. But keep in mind these phones won't receive any updates , multitasking will be a headache, can't play graphic intensive games, can't take decent photos and etcetera. There are 'android one' phones out there, where these devices are promised to receive the latest update available even though their HW specs are low. If anyone wants to explore only about android os then they can get one but still it is not really a good choice to get one of those. The price range of low end phones we're talking here is under 8000rs. So unless if you're in a hurry , don't get a low end phone . Get a mid range phone in a discount price at the right time.

Mid range phones
These are the handsets which are used widely by the people around the world. But buying a mid range phone is a very difficult thing. Never ever look at the specs of a handset and buy it. Always do a little research by looking into YouTube. The price range of this category will be under 17k. So every midrange phone will have a unique specialty such as ,
1. Better camera
2. Display
3. Audio output
4. Battery capacity
5. Build quality
So in every mid range phone either one or two of these things will be of higher quality. There are many phones with 13mp sensor at the back and 5-8 mp sensor at the front. Megapixels isn't the only thing to be considered in a camera. Always look for aperture with 2.0 or less than that. The lower aperture allows the camera to absorb more light for brighter pictures and make sure a flash is present for low light photography. Next look at the display , if its a 720p or 1080p screen means its worth buying it and always ensure it is of gorilla glass display as it protects the display from cracking . Majority of the smartphones have a single speaker but if you're more concerned about the audio, then get a phone with dual speakers . Battery life of a smartphone is a very important factor to be considered among other things. Make sure the battery capacity is higher than 2500mah or higher . But even if the capacity is higher , the phone's operating system should be optimized in such a way that the phone still holds some juice till the end of the day. When it comes to build quality , mid range phones are usually made in plastic so we just have to get one and use it very safely. Bottom line get a premium brand's popular smart phone where many people uses it. In that way , the phone will have CM support ie CyanogenMod support. Many people doesn't know about CM but before going into that the person should have a little knowledge about rooting, flashing, boot loader , kernel etc. We'll post an article about them very soon. Believe me CyanogenMod is an interesting thing to be known. So deep down , always lay your hands on a popular mid range phone.

High end phones
When it comes to high end handsets its all about business. If you're willing to spend more money on a smartphone , don't go to any shops and ask the persons working there to tell us some things about the higher end handsets, believe me they'll confuse you and even say wrong details about the phone. Go to YouTube and check out some videos about reviewing, unboxing, and versus videos. So at the beginning we'll make a list of high end phones , and while comparing them each phone beats other one or performs better than others in different departments . Samsung always wins in camera and display departments. Followed by Sony, HTC and Motorola. When it comes to performance Motorola and HTC beats every other smartphone easily. The performance of these high end phones are affected by heavy theming and bloatware. This is why Samsung , lg and Sony smartphones lag while multitasking. The display will be either full HD or quad HD. The full HD phones have 1080p resolution and these high end phones easily handles it. But when it comes to quad HD phones they have 1440p resolution and they require a lot of power to push the pixels and the battery life will also be not good. My opinion would be to buy a nexus phone. They are far better than any other smartphones in the market. So guys I know you're confused , so we'll post an article every month regarding the best smartphone available. This post was completely written by me and its my choice of selecting a smartphone based on these things. Let me know what you guys think..
