SENNHEISER SHOWS TWO AUDIO MODULE CONCEPTS FOR GOOGLE PROJECT ARA

Sennheiser, a well known German audio company, which is a synonym for the highest sound quality announced the cooperation with modular smartphone pioneers  “phonebloks” a few months back. Recently in a blog post by Phonebloks, Sennheiser introduced  their audio module CONCEPTS.

SENNHEISER AMPHION MODULE – CUSTOMIZABLE CLARITY

The Amphion audio module comes fully equipped with a  noise-canceling microphone and an amplifier, which is able to record and play the audio of your choice with high force and undisputed clarity. The energy-efficient G amplifier and low-noise mic,  together with the low latency digital processor (which is actually taking full advantage of the digital playback experience) are destined to be responsible for multiple geekgasms from hardcore audiophiles and professionals alike.
Sennheiser wants to make the Digital Signal Processor (short DSP) user-programmable, which means if you can dream it, you can make it.. Sounds good right...

SENNHEISER AUDIO MODULE PROTEUS – A DOUBLE THREAT

The Proteus Audio Module is fitted with 2 audio jacks, so you don’t have to listen to your music alone any longer. The audio module concept proteus is an open-end solution, it possesses the potential to connect 4 microphones and thus create your own directive audio capture device (which could in a “worst case scenario” be considered a security risk). The voice of the communitywill be almost fully responsible for the evolution of these concepts, which is also the beauty of the modular age.
